Photography has always been a great part of my life. I wonder what would have happened if I never developed b&w film with my grandfather in his bathroom, or what if my mother didn't give me my first camera, a Kodak Instamatic, as a gift when I was ten, leaving home to study abroad as an exchange student? Would I still have become a professional photographer? I still remember the first time I saw a young afghan girl with the most amazing gaze staring back at me from the cover of National Geographic, that was the moment I realized I wanted to be a photographer. To be able to tell a story, freeze an emotion or capture the beauty of the world in one frame, that is the ultimate goal for me as a photographer.
